Michael Taylor has over 30 years of experience in Catholic education, including five years as a Catholic middle school teacher, ten years as principal of Catholic K-8 schools, and eleven years at a lay ministry formation center at a Catholic university in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. At the lay ministry center, Michael coordinated ministry formation and leadership development programs for people working in Catholic parishes or schools through the Archdiocese and served as the director of the center for seven years.
From 2021 to 2026, Michael worked for Meitler, a national Catholic planning and consulting firm. While there, he partnered with schools, parishes, and dioceses around the country to help them to analyze situations, address challenges, and take advantage of opportunities. After almost thirty years living in Wisconsin, when Michael joined Meitler, he and his wife were able to move back to Albuquerque, where Michael grew up.
Michael serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association for Lay Ministry. He has Master’s degrees in Educational Leadership from Marquette University and in Pastoral Studies from Cardinal Stritch University.
